Liberty-Perry (aka Wapahani) Alumni Association ---Established January, 2008 in Selma, Indiana, amended by vote to become Liberty-Perry Alumni Association on Sept., 3, 2009.  We are a non-profit group.

Our Motto:  Wapahani - Center - Selma

Our Mission:  To give our Liberty-Perry alumni a connection to their schools and community; to rekindle the spirit of school pride through events and projects; to preserve school history through displays that educate; to give back to the school through scholarships; to promote unity and fellowship among all alumni. 

Monthly Membership Meetings:  First Thursday of each Month, 6:30 p.m., Selma Lions Club building, Selma, IN.    Next meeting Thursday, September 2, 2010.

Who may join:  Anyone who attended or was graduated from Liberty-Perry schools--Wapahani High School, Selma High School, or Center High School.  Any former, retired, or current teacher or staff of Liberty-Perry schools.  Any individual with a connection to Liberty-Perry schools who desires to support Liberty-Perry Alumni Association in its events, projects, and scholarships.

Want to help us help past, present, and future Alumni?  There are many ways to become involved!!

• Become a member.  Supportive memberships help alumni scholarships, projects, events, and necessary  operating costs.  For new or renewing memberships, complete a LPAAMemberApp on this site and follow the directions for submitting the form and payment.  Benefits include a membership card, password-accessible LPAAssocMembersOnly webpage, newsletters, and voting privileges. 
  
• Become an officer.  The recent election of officers means our Association will continue to grow. 
• Attend Meetings.  We encourage you to be a part of future decision-making by attending our monthly meetings held on the first Thursday of each month, 6:30 p.m., in the Selma Lions Club building.   Your ideas and votes are important to make sure we represent the needs of all Members.  (Out-of-area or working members may participate in votes on important issues by using our online ballots).
• Sign up for a committee.  Activities, Fundraising, History, Memberships, Publicity, Scholarships, or special Event Committees. 
• Support L.P..A.A. projects and events.  Purchase a cookbook or alumni  wear,  attend events, help preserve our school history, invite other alumni to participate, just to name a few ways you can support the Association and help achieve our goals!!
• Make a financial contribution. You may designate where your contribution is to be allocated:  General Operating Fund, Owen Suits Scholarship, Wayne Cox Memorial Bluebird Scholarship.  Complete the FinancialContributorForm on this site and follow the directions for sending us your thoughtful gift. You will receive confirmation and a receipt for your donation.
