Selma School Song

Words (and music) by Joe Naumcheff

Selma High School, we're proud to sing your name,

For it has honor, glory, and fame!

Bluebirds all, we soar on high, never down we stray,

For Selma High School---we say Hoo-ray!!

Selma High School, with colors blue and white,

You always strive for that which is right.

Blue and white, we'll fight for you.

Win or lose, we're true to you.

We love Selma, our School!!!.

Selma High School 1904-1976

From Art Haney in response to a question:

Mary Ellen (Bullock) Murphy, Cromer is the oldest living Selma High School alumni, graduating in 1926.  Mary Ellen is in a nursing home near her son, Dick, in Texas.  Alice (Hodson) Williamson, 1927, in a nursing home  (near Selma) is next in line and I believe Francis Gates, 1930, living in Farmland would be third. (as of March, 2009). (We were sad to learn of the passing of Alice Hodson Williamson in August 2009).

Selma High School Yearbooks on CD

We now have the following available on CD.

  • 1911 Selma High School Touchstone
  • 1941 Selma High School Aurora
  • Additional yearbooks will be available as time permits.  It's a long and tedious process to scan yearbooks, yet take care that they are not damaged.
