Former classmates that have moved away from Selma can be found all over the world. And it truly is a small world. To give an example, around 1995 while attending a swap meet in Long Beach California, I was haggling with a seller on the price of a fold-up chair. His look and demeanor seemed familiar, especially his distinctive voice and accent. So I asked him where he was from. It was Torren Burgess, a former '75 classmate and buddy of mine. Out of the millions of people in Los Angeles, let alone the World, what are the odds of meeting someone I'd graduated with 20 years earlier? If you have a similar story or happen to know who lives the furthest away from Selma, tell us who and where they currently live. We'd all like to know. Last I heard, Brian Buchanan (class of '75) was living in Aruba. FYI: I actually got a better deal on the chair and still have it to this day. Every time I sit in it I always remember that time.
