Recycle Rap(to help out the SMS and Wapahani bands)
The sound of the trumpet
The drum's pounding beat
You used to love to play
but now it's not so neat.
Recycle those old instruments
and give our bands a hand.
They'll fix them and reuse them
as a part of marching band.
Just take them to Wapahani
or the middle school too.
Mr. Geisler, band director,
will know what to do.
So what if a valve is broken
or the oboe has a dent.
They'll repair, reuse, recycle,
and make music heaven sent.
Please help them.
Please contact Richard Geiler at
rgeisler@selma.k12.in.us or Dale Buffin
at
d.buffin@comcast.net for delivery
arrangements or other delivery methods.
Don't forget to visit Maukie, our virtual house cat, at the bottom of this page; she's aloof most of the time, but really does like the attention!!
Thanks to Mrs. Betty Cox, we are able to make her late husband's books available to more Bluebird lovers. Mr. Wayne Cox's Selma High School Alumni Registry is now available in our WebStore here on this site. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be deposited in the Wayne Cox Memorial Bluebird Scholarship Fund, and an annual scholarship will be awarded to the grandchild or great-grandchild of a Bluebird.
To date, we still need to increase the Bluebird Scholrship fund in order to award a scholarship for the school year 2010-2011. You may also make a direct contribution by mailing your check made payable to Wayne Cox Scholarship, to LPAA, P. O. Box 45, Selma, IN 47383.
A Donor Contribution Form is available on this site for your convenience. Print and mail with your check.andClick here for Wapahani High School Information
